Herkimer County Office for the Aging Giving Tree for Older Adults
Gift tags will be placed on the Holiday Tree located at the Office for the Aging, 109 Mary Street, Herkimer beginning Monday, November 18th.
These tags are for older adults in Herkimer County who are not likely to receive a gift this Christmas season. The tags will indicate if they are a man or woman and some ideas for a gift.
If you would like to help any of these older adults you can pick a tag from the tree. You do not need to purchase all the items on the tag they are only suggestions. The gifts can be placed in a gift bag with the gift tag that you chose from the tree. If you do not want wish to do a gift bag, you can donate a gift card from a local grocery store (Walmart, Hannaford, Price Chopper, Aldi’s included but not limited to).
Please have all tags and gifts back by Friday, December 13th.
